We meet in the Family Life Center at the back of the One Heart Church parking lot. Follow the Generations Norcross flags and signs and you'll be greeted by our welcome team!
Nobody has anything to fear or anything to prove at Generations. The gospel creates a safe, non-accusatory environment for sinners like us to consider our lives before God. None of us are finished products so we all need space to breathe, time to figure things out and a way to know we're making progress. Sundays at Generations are about creating space, making time, recalibrating and reorienting around Jesus.
You should expect to be honored as our guest by being given the freedom to participate on Sunday morning in ways that are comfortable for you and without pressure from us. Most importantly, you should expect to encounter the real Jesus in a meaningful way.

What is the service like?
When you walk inside you will be warmly welcomed. Coffee will be available if you're still waking up and there are signs to direct you to our gathering and where you can sign in kids for NextGen (our children's ministry). Children stay with the adults for the first 20-25 minutes while we sing, but don't let that stress you out. We have a lot of young kids, so if that's you, you'll blend right in.
We start with a reading from Scripture and prayer, followed by 3-4 worship songs. We will then make some announcements before releasing the children and volunteers to go to their classes. That's followed by the message, always from the Bible, always for your growth and encouragement, always about Jesus.
We respond to the gospel each Sunday in worship, by singing and receiving the Lord's Supper, which is open to any person who belongs to Christ by faith.

What is worship like?
We embrace both the rich hymns from generations past and more current worship songs from our own day. Here is a sampling of songs we sing regularly, just to give you an idea:

- Living Hope
- Behold
- Build My Life
- He Will Hold Me Fast
- Give Me Faith
- We Believe
- In Christ Alone
- Death Was Arrested
- How Great Thou Art
- Cornerstone
- Come Behold The Wondrous Mystery
What is the preaching like?
Preaching at Generations aims to bring the timeless and powerful truths of the Word of God to bear on our lives today. Our goal is to faithfully interpret the meaning of a passage of Scripture, so that we might come to personally know and be transformed by the one true God who has revealed himself to us through the Bible. We come back time and time again to the beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ, not just as the entry point to the Christian walk, but as our daily source of hope, strength, rest, peace, and joy.
